Welcome to Strong Foundations Dog Training, where we can start your dog off on the right paw.

My name if Tiffany, and I am the owner and trainer of Strong Foundations Dog Training. I am a qualified behavioural trainer, with many years of industry experience.

I believe strong foundations are the key to a strong bond between owner and dog. These strong foundations allow us to work through behavioural problems and problem behaviours. I believe in giving dogs freedom through boundaries, positive reinforcement, and kindness.

Ziva, what big ears you have! “All the better to ignore you with my dear!” Haha not really! Ziva was the best girl on her walk Sunday! We have done a LOT of work to get her to the point of a walk and train. Undoing some strong fears that have developed has been a lot of work, but so very worth it when you see her getting to this point. Well done little miss ❤️

Beau, he is the definition of big bad boy on the outside, cinnamon roll on the inside 😂 scary dog privilege 💯- currently sucks (pulls and lunges) on the lead and looks like he will murder you? Tick tick! … But also beyond willing to please, loves to learn, and is so darn smart!! He is learning emotional regulation, value in handlers, and that yes he really does have to listen. I couldn’t be prouder of Beau and his humans and all the work they are putting into him 😍

Guess who got adopted! Sucré won over his new mum with those puppy dog eyes! His new name is probably going to be Gus, which I think suits him perfectly. Ps: how cute is the bandana one of my year 8 students made him! They did such a great job, I’m so excited to tell her he wore it to his new home ❤️

I am still feeling beyond lousy after the wasp incident, it feels like a hangover mixed with COVID 🙃 teaching one class today had me exhausted as soon as I sat in the car. I’m looking forward to feeling better 😩 I will be taking bookings again from end of week to make sure I’m fully back to health!

How stunning is miss Maya! A farm bred kelpie who has jumped into training to put that incredible brain to work. After her first private lesson her eyes were so heavy she was barely awake when I left 😂 very different to the high energy girl I met at the start!
