Behavioural Consultation

2 hours in home $300

Behavioural Consultations allow me to support your family in your dog’s own environment. I can assess the behavioural concern, work with you to establish the possible root cause, and note triggers and contributing factors.

We often become blind to simple things around the home that may be influencing our dog’s behaviour, this session allows me to scaffold a training plan, and implement changes to reach our shared goal. I work with you to create a realistic timeline, one that is a gradual approach.

Behavioural Consultations are best suited to:

  • Reactivity: in and outside the home, to specific things, situations, or people

  • Anxious based behaviours

  • Resource guarding

  • Excessive barking

Behavioural Consultations include a detailed followup support package, which will overview our consultation, and include a training plan.

Training Consultation

1.5 hours in home $250

Initial Training Consultations are a great way for us to look at our desired outcome, and scaffold a training plan to meet these goals. What may sound as simple as ‘walking nicely on the leash’, may include things like marker and release, training certain positions, body awareness, confidence building activities, and bonding. I can also make recommendations on your pup’s daily routines to assist in our overall training goals.

Our initial Training Consultation will include hands on training of basic skills, and you will leave feeling empowered and ready to start this exciting new journey!

Training Consultations are best suited to those looking for training for the following:

  • Foundations & Basics: Such as recall, stay, loose leash walking

  • Trick training & confidence building: Spin & Twirl, Commando crawl, selfie, Doggy Yoga (Doga!)

  • Grooming Desensitisation

  • Cooperative care training

  • Scent detection

FAQs

  • Yes, especially if the behaviour we are looking at is between the two dogs. If you are hoping to train the two dogs on different things, you may find more benefit in emailing us about training options, we can tailor a package to suit your dogs needs individually. In most instances, the session time can cover working with two household dogs with no issue.

  • Payments

    Payments must be made in full at time of booking.

    Rescheduling/Cancellations

    A minimum of 7 days written notice is required to reschedule a training session. Monies paid will be credited for use within a three-month period from rescheduling date.

    Any session needing to be rebooked with less than 7 days notice will incur a rebooking fee of 50% of all monies paid. Remaining credit can be used within a three-month period from rescheduling date.

    Any unused credit after the three-month period will be forfeited.

    Cancellation

    Whilst we try to cater for unforeseen events, and offer credit where possible, refunds will not be issued for change of mind.

  • To secure the discounted price, the full package price must be paid at time of booking the first session.

  • I am based in the Largs Bay area.

    I am happy to travel accross Adelaide, but a travel fee will apply for distances outside of a 10km radius of Largs Bay.

    0–10 km – No travel fee
    10–20 km – $10
    20–30 km – $20
    30–40 km – $30
    40–50 km – $40
    50 km+ – Travel quoted prior to booking
